PV Sindhu gets 2 acres in Vizag to setup badminton academy

Visakhapatnam The decks appear to have been cleared for ace shuttler P.V. Sindhu is getting two acres of prime land in the proposed executive capital of Visakhapatnam for establishing a badminton academy and sports school.
The land promised in Survey Nos. 72/11, 83/5 and 6 in Chinagadili village is now under the possession of the Animal Husbandry Department. According to a GO issued recently, the District Collector of Visakhapatnam had submitted the proposal for alienation of land measuring three acres for establishment of badminton academy & sports school in favour of P. Venkata Sindhu, BWF World Badminton Champion subject to withdrawal of land from Animal Husbandry Department.
The Chief Commissioner of Land Administration & Special Chief Secretary reported that the government considered the proposal of the District Collector, Visakhapatnam on 27.04.2021 and recommended to submit the proposal for alienation of land to the Youth Service & Sports Department, Government of AP, duly relaxing condition 3(i) of G.O.Ms.No. 571, as the proposed land is in the mandal headquarters and subject to all conditions as per BSO-24 and G.O.ms.No.571, Revenue (Asn.I) dept., dt.
14.09.2012. Further the Youth Service & Sports Department may consider allotment to P.V.Sindhu Academy & Sports School as per process, the order stated duly complying with the conditions, in consultation with the Revenue Department:
The conditions include submission of registration certificates of PV Sindhu Badminton Academy & Sports School, bye-laws, IT returns for processing three years of badminton academy & sports school, detailed project report (DPR) and satisfaction of Youth Services & Sports Department with the DPR and maintaining a separate access from the main road without disturbing other existing institutes. The government after careful examination of the proposals, issued the order for transfer of two acres from the Animal Husbandry Department to the Department of Youth Services and Sports for allocation of the land for establishment of P. Venkata Sindhu, Badminton Academy & Sports School.
